Ideally I prefer to visit the place to be painted with the client and discuss which aspect or feature will end up in the painting. If this is not feasible due to distance etc., I am happy to work from photographs supplied by the client. In this case, advice would be given on the type of photographs required.

Please do not send any precious, irreplaceable pictures before we’ve had a chat first!

Prices for commissions vary according to size of the canvas and time spent preparing and executing the work, a deposit of 50% is required after the initial consultation. Travel expenses may also be charged depending on individual circumstances, framing and delivery costs are not included in the price.

Commissioned works, as with all other artworks, come under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 whereby the copyright in a work of art belongs to the artists, or his or her heirs and assigns.
